Trustees Hilary and Bill Price

Alaska, British Columbia, Patagonia, South Island New Zealand and every major river in the West – what do all of these places have in common?  Avid fly fishers, Hilary and Bill Price have dropped lines in all of these beautiful and exotic locales. 

Hilary and Bill met on horseback on a ranch in Montana where their families both happened to be vacationing.  That Montana meeting started a courtship, leading to a marriage that has celebrated 44 anniversaries to date.  They had greeted each other before but neither one of them remembers the occasion.  At the age of 2 Bill sent Hilary a greeting card welcoming her to the world.

Trustees since the very beginning of the program, Hilary and Bill see The Laguna Playhouse as an integral part of Laguna Beach – a city they call home.  “We love coming opening nights.  The atmosphere at the Playhouse is so friendly.  Our fellow Trustees, guests, and the staff – everyone is so enjoyable to be with.” 

Bill has a keen business sense that makes him in demand as a Board member.  In addition to serving as past Treasurer on the Playhouse Board, Bill serves on the Boards of Scripps, US Education Corp., US Automotive, and Town Hall.com.
