Page to Stage

Explore and discuss memoirs that have been turned into stage plays. How do you dramatize someone’s life story and make it interesting on stage? Study will focus on Playhouse productions of Ring of Fire and The Year of Magical Thinking.  Class meets on Mondays from 11:30 am – 1 pm at the Laguna Playhouse. Bring a brown bag lunch for this stimulating and educational lunchtime discussion. Cost: $195*

Short-Form Playwriting

Have you discovered the world of 10-minute plays? Short-attention-span theatre is lots of fun to read, write and perform. Exercise your imagination and create your own 10-page play in a supportive workshop setting.  Class meets on Mondays from 1:30-3 pm at the Laguna Playhouse. Bring a laptop or pen and paper for in-class writing exercises. Cost: $195*
