It’s the annual gathering of the Society of Mystery Enthusiasts and Great Mystery Authors where the “Author of the Year” will be named. Each of the nominees are the crème de la crème of ‘whodunit’ writers and are, without a doubt, the craftiest minds in the business. Each are competing for the $100,000 prize money which accompanies the award.
This year’s nominees include: Arthur Conan O’Brian, perhaps the greatest living mystery novelist. Agatha Krispy, the country’s most famous female mystery novelist. Redd Herring & Dee Parted, a writing team, enjoying their nomination. Barry DeLive, creator of Cliff Hanger, Detective series. Paul Bearer, a young writer who struck literary pay dirt with his very first mystery novel.
