DVD Brochure for 2006 Season of Shows wins highest honor – the Prestigious Silver Medal for The Laguna Playhouse and Edge Films!
July 10, 2006 — Laguna Beach, CA — The Laguna Playhouse 2006-2007 DVD Season Brochure has been awarded three prestigious Telly Awards in the 27th Annual International Telly Awards competition. The Laguna Playhouse and Edge Films have been awarded Bronze Tellys in the Direct Marketing and Charitable/Not-for-Profit categories and one Silver Telly—the highest honor—in the Entertainment category. “This is an exceptional acknowledgment of the innovative marketing we have been implementing this year at The Laguna Playhouse under the creative direction of our Director of Marketing and Development, Greg Patterson,” commented Richard Stein, Executive Director of the Laguna Playhouse. “We thank everyone at Edge Films for helping us create such an exceptional DVD and to the Telly voting committee for these honors.”
The Laguna Playhouse has been experiencing significant growth this past year with a more than 20% increase in our subscriber base alone,” continued Stein. “Our new DVD is proving to be a strong new sales tool for us this season as we are continuing to realize continued growth in subscriptions.”

Upcoming at the Laguna Playhouse is the Orange County premiere production of the hilarious and interactive comedy, SHEAR MADNESS, written by Paul Pörtner and directed by Christopher Tarjan which opens on Saturday, July 15.
