Annual Fund: Where the Money Goes

Bringing You High Quality Productions

The Laguna Playhouse is one of only a handful of major professional resident theatres in California and Laguna Beach is the smallest community in the United States to have a theatre company of this size and reputation.

Your Gift Supports

• The highest quality of theatre
performance in your community.

actors, directors, designers and playwrights.

nationally-acclaimed education and

The Laguna Playhouse has distinguished itself as one of the region’s foremost producers of new works. In addition to a number of World Premieres and many West Coast premieres, the Playhouse has gained international attention as the foremost American producer of acclaimed Irish playwright Bernard Farrell. Audiences here often have the chance to be the first to see new and unusual dramas, comedies and musicals–always in first-rate productions.

The Playhouse is also noted for its commitment to producing a wide spectrum of theatrical art, and loyal Playhouse theatergoers consistently cite the variety of theatrical experiences we offer as a prime reason for their devoted support. Our reputation for eclectic programming has also helped attract to our theatre artists of the highest caliber.

Top-Notch Education Programs

For many years, The Laguna Playhouse was the only theatre consistently offering high quality theatre for young audiences. Our Youth Theatre has been recognized with two national awards, and continues to provide intensive training for budding theatre artists while treating family audiences to performances of children’s classics on our stage.

Creative drama classes and workshops are offered year-round on a recreational basis to children in the community.

we simply wouldn't be here and we wouldn’t be able to bring you the kind of high-quality performances,
new play commissions and eclectic programming our community has come to enjoy.

Your donation not only supports our award-winning stage production, it also goes toward our
comprehensive education and outreach programs and allows us to provide special programs
for students, teachers, seniors and military. And remember, the Playhouse is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means your gift is fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Your gift in any amount counts! Thank you.
