A Moveable Feast Proves To Be a Satisfying Treat
Crab and lobster spring rolls with blackberry dipping sauce. Swordfish steak stuffed with lobster and shiitake mushrooms finished with champagne caper berry sauce. Braised boneless short ribs “Bourguignon” with red wine sauce. Colorado lamb rack and petite osso bucco.
Those were just a few of the delectable dishes offered to diners during our 17th annual A Moveable Feast, held this year on Monday, October 15 at ten of Laguna Beach’s finest restaurants: 230 Forest, Clae’s, Five Feet, French 75, K’ya, Las Brisas, Mozambique, Partner’s Bistro, Sorrento Grille, and Sundried Tomato Café.
After a welcoming champagne reception on the stage of The Laguna Playhouse and a peek at more than 100 fabulous silent auction items, participants enjoyed an appetizer course at one restaurant and an entrée at another restaurant before returning to The Laguna Playhouse for decadent desserts (created by Chef Laurent Brazier of Laguna Culinary Arts) and an exciting live auction.
