How To Subscribe
There are a variety of ways to subscribe to The Laguna Playhouse Affinity Series package. Whether you'd prefer to complete and submit our secure online order form, place your order by phone, by fax or in person at The Laguna Playhouse Box Office, you'll not only be treated to some of the country's best live theatre, but you'll also be treated like family.

You'll enjoy special subsciber benefits, the best available seats, and you'll always receive advance ordering priority for any special event, such as Hershey Felder as Monsieur Chopin. What's more, you'll even have the opportunity to improve your seats from season to season if you'd like.
How to Improve Your Seats
The Laguna Playhouse Loyalty Plan has been created to take into consideration each patron’s complete relationship with The Laguna Playhouse:
- Buy or maintain your subscription – Greater consideration will be given to consecutive years of subscription and full subscriptions over Design Your Own Subscriptions;
- Make an annual campaign contribution – Priority is weighted towards consistent giving to the ongoing year-to-year operations of the company and on the level of individual giving.
Contributors to The Laguna Playhouse Annual Fund are granted the highest priority in seating assignments.
Please note:
Ticket order priority increases by the number of consecutive years as a subscriber, the date we receive your renewal notice, and by giving category.
Subscription seating assignment priority is based on a number of factors, including the level of giving to our Annual Fund; the number of consecutive years as a subscriber and the date we receive your subscription renewal notice. Often, your priority increases if you are able to make a contribution to our Annual Fund (ticket sales cover less than 75% of the cost of producing world-class theatre and community and education programs).
Subscribers receive as a special benefit $5 off additional single ticket purchases for most Laguna Playhouse productions. Some exceptions may apply from time to time, for example the subscriber price is not applicable for our presentation of Monsieur Chopin.

How is my subscription prioritized for seating assignment or improvements?
As your renewal or new subscription comes into our office, it is prioritized based on a number of factors upon which we have developed a ranking system in the development of our loyalty plan:
- By the date we receive your invoice and full payment.
- According to the number of years you’ve been a continuous subscriber.
- If a patron is a member of the Annual Fund and increases with each increased level of giving.
- New subscribers are seated after renewing subscribers but always in seats we’ve reserved before single tickets go on sale to the general public. Contributors to The Laguna Playhouse Annual Fund are granted the highest priority in seating assignments.
- Contributors to our Capital Campaign.
Why are different people often in the seats next to mine?
The subscribers who normally sit next to or in front of you may have exchanged their tickets for another performance, donated them back to The Playhouse, or given them to a lucky friend.
Why don't I get my same seats when I exchange my tickets for a different performance?
Someone else subscribes to your seats on a different night. We always exchange your tickets for the same production for the best available seats, but we cannot guarantee the same, or even similar seats to and alternate performance.
INSIDE TIP: Over 75% of our subscribers renew their subscriptions and most keep their same seats, especially those close to the center and front of each seating section where renewal is close to 85%. Next season, if you prefer to sit closer to the front, we may find better seating a few rows closer to the stage, but more toward the side. If you prefer to sit toward the center, we may find center seating a bit further back. Please indicate your preference on the renewal invoice we'll send you next spring. If we are unable to make the improvement you desire we will preserve your current seating.
